Dick BeasleyThe Calligraphabets Puzzle Series features original artwork created by calligrapher and artist Dick Beasley.
Dick Beasley (1934-1992) taught design, painting, printmaking, drawing, and calligraphy at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. His design and artistic abilities were widely recognized, and he found a niche as a calligraphic abstractionist. For him the alphabet was a means through which his unequaled vibrancy of color and strength of abstract came into being.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the puzzles in the Calligraphabets Puzzles Series will be donated to the Dick Beasley Memorial Art Scholarship at Northern Arizona University.
